1 dead after shooting at Cincinnati gas station

A man is dead after a shooting in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington neighborhood. The shooting happened around 1 p.m. at a Shell gas station on 2974 Colerain Avenue, according to police.Colerain Avenue is shut down in both directions as well as Hopple in both directions.Two officers observed an argument between two individuals that continued into the Shell gas station. It escalated to where one pulled out a gun and shot the other individual according to police. Officials said the victim, Jearid Irvin, 48, was transported to UC Medical Hospital with life-threatening injuries but has now been pronounced dead.The Cincinnati Police Department arrested Peter Gamble, 31, in connection with Irvin’s death.
