OF COURSE, HERE WE ARE. THE MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE 85 MILES PER HOUR. WE ARE MONITORING THIS GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER. WE ARE EXPECTING A RAPID INTENSIFICATION CYCLE THESE NEXT FEW DAYS. AND BY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AND SATURDAY IT COULD BE THE TENSION ONLY — COULD BE POTENTIALLY CATEGORY 4. WE ALREADY HAVE THE 5:00 ADVISORY ON HURRICANE DANIELLE. WINDS ARE AT 80 MILES PER HOUR. IT WILL EVENTUALLY WORK ITS WAY TOWARD SPAIN AND PORTUGAL AS A REMNANT AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. AND THEN WE ARE WATCHING THIS STORM SYSTEM GETTING BETTER ORGANIZED OVER THESE LAST FEW HOURS. IT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK TOWARD THE NET — WEST AND NORTHWEST. IT COULD BE A DEPRESSION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. A HIGH LIKELIHOOD THAT IT DOES START TO DEVELOP. Earl becomes second hurricane of Atlantic season

The second hurricane of the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season developed Tuesday night.Tropical Storm Earl grew stronger than anticipated and became a hurricane. As of Wednesday, Earl had top sustained winds of 85 mph, was 440 miles south of Bermuda, and was heading north at 8 mph.”A turn toward the north-northeast and then northeast with an increase in forward speed is expected to begin on Thursday and continue through early Saturday. On the forecast track, the center of Earl is expected to pass to the southeast of Bermuda on Thursday night,” the National Hurricane Center said.
