U.S. Marshals have identified 23-year-old Justin Johnson as the suspect wanted in connection to the murder of Young Dolph last year.

A warrant has been issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Johnson on a first-degree murder charge. According to FOX13 Memphis, TBI, along with the U.S. Marshals and Memphis Police, are offering a combined award of $15,000 for information that will lead to his arrest.

Johnson has also been reportedly added to the TBI’s “Most Wanted” list.

Dolph was shot and killed at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in Memphis this past November. Maurice Hill, owner of the bakery, told Fox 13 that “his employees said Young Dolph walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and then shot and killed him.”

Dolph was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 36.

In the weeks following Dolph’s death, authorities attempted to figure out the suspect’s identity, starting with surveillance footage showing two individuals involved in the shooting, as well as the white Mercedes that was used to flee the scene. The discovery of the getaway car led investigators down a separate path, as it was later believed the same vehicle was used in a double shooting earlier that same month.

Makeda’s Cookies said it will honor Dolph by naming his favorite cookie, the chocolate chip, after him, while the intersection of Dunn Avenue and Airways Boulevard in Memphis’ Castalia Heights neighborhood has been renamed Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton, Jr. Avenue in remembrance of the late rapper.
